As a research and teaching assistant to professor M. Ghiassi at Santa Clara University in the field of Artificial Intelligence, my work involved pattern-recognition, classification, and forecasting for engineering and business intelligence applications. Our primary research focused upon the pre-production forecasting of box-office revenues for major motion pictures.
A few years ago I worked as a financial technology researcher for a stealth startup headquartered in New York City, during which time I attended CoinSummit in San Francisco, spoke at the CryptoCurrency Convention 2014 in NYC, and presented a research overview at a recent Bitcoin mining conference in Las Vegas. Over Halloween weekend, I built and launched FilePub.com, a platform for buying or selling any file online, at the Money 20/20 Hackathon with two friends. We were pleased to win the Chain.com API award. For a while I also worked on a craft distilling business with a few friends. You know, just to keep our spirits up.
After 3 years at Zee Aero, I decided it was time for a change & I’m now enjoying a temporary retirement respite.
